Nerd Travels // Food In Sydney // Grano

On our final day in Sydney, it rained so heavily [apparently it was the heaviest rain in Sydney, in 13 years time] and surrounding temperature dropped to a 9. Despite the horrible weather, we managed to grab some good food at Grano before catching a flight to Gold Coast. Since Grano was a stone's throw away, we decided to walk there and it's hilarious because wind was so strong I could barely move! Come on, you know my figure...Anyways, we went for 3 appetizers without a main course and what not. These are what we had for lunch:

~ Salsiccia Con Antipasti Per Due [Italian sausage with Italian small goods for two]
~ Piaito Fritto Per Due [Fried platter for two]
~ Zuppa Di Manzo Con Verdure [Beef soup with vegetables]

Zuppa Di Manzo Con Verdure and Will & Co's cappuccino was definitely a stand-out. Tiny little doughnut looking pasta soaked in hot beef broth with chunks and chunks of vegetables. I tell you, it was brilliant. Who could resist a bowl of hot soup in the bad weather eh? We were actually lucky enough because Zuppa Di Manzo wasn't a permanent dish, just a soup of the day kinda thing. I personally didn't enjoy the 2 other appetizers too much because the flavor was too salty for my palettes. If you are a fan of savory, salty and heavily seasoned food, I bet you would love them : ) Pickled olives, smelly cheese, smoked salami and crispy seafood. I guess everyone is a fan except for me, the party pooper. Hahaha!

Have a nice day <3
