Pulled over at the midpoint of North South highway for breakfast. Not too sure how was the weather in the city last Saturday but down south the weather was unbelievably cooling and magical.

12:00p.m.
Arrived at Johor Premium Outlet [JPO]. Went into Diane Von Furstenberg, tried on some pants and wandered into Kate Spade. Dang were we disappointed by the range of products JPO offers. Other than the lunch at Kampachi which was amazing, best experience we had was in the fitting room in Bread n Butter. Need me some sexy "7 for all mankind" jeans. Asap :p
3:00p.m.
Food. Didn't really understand why were there little to none food options in JPO so we ended up in Kampachi. Since we practice partial vegetarian diet, we went for garlic fried rice, a side seaweed salad and homemade warm mochi coated in peanuts. Seaweed salad with sesame dressing was the star of our meal.
4:30p.m.
Did I mention the reason for this roadtrip? It's my father's college gang annual gathering! Thumbs up to 30 years of friendship. Drove to the home-stay they booked for the night. A semi-detached with an utterly spacious outdoor sitting area. Everyone sat and talked reminiscing their college years with laughter till 4:00 in the morning.
After a lovely breakfast, we bid everyone goodbye. Stopped over at Pagoh for a drink then headed straight back home to get ready for our appointment later that day. As of now, I feel recharged. Thanks to the short getaway, stunning weather and hilarious jokes.
