If you have visited Foshan, GuangZhou before, have you been to 岭南天地？Its one of my favourite places to go. Strongly recommend this to people who loves architecture and good food. We had Vietnamese for dinner and that's definitely a memorable one. With coffee shops, artisan ice-cream shops and choclatiers surrounding it's pretty impossible to not be a happy person :) [More food pics coming up]

Nerd Travels // Brisbane Photobook 2

Its-mid week. Are you having the mid-week syndrome where you feel that half of the week has gone by yet the weekend feels so far away? I feel you. *bro-high-five* One of the coolest outfit I've styled so far. Got so many compliments that day and heck yes do I know my shoes are beautiful. Thanks guys!

Street styling, wrecking my inner bad ass, oriental vibes, flowers, a smile, weirdo and the most relaxing yet embarrassing selfie in history. Since I have been travelling alone, taking pictures would only mean either a selfie, a selfie with scenery or just scenery, nothing else. But since I met a guy that day, he offered to take pictures for me! Lmao. Therefore the 3 full body shots. And nope I did not give him my number even though he asked ; )

Before I babble about my relaxing and embarrassing story, I have to let you know that I went back to the hotel for a short nap and changed into a skirt for the night out, right after my afternoon stroll. So as I was waiting for the sun to set,  I sat on the grass by the river, looked into the blue sky & listened to the merely-there jazz music from the city far opposite. Didn't take me long to decide to lie down and 'enjoy life' like a wanderlust. YOLO. The embarrassing part came in when I struggled to get up, and by the time I got up, bits of grass were on my hair, specs partially falling off, skirt was wet and also on the verge of showing my panties. Also, did I mention that there was a professional guy photographer on my left trying to catch the sunset, a teary emo university girl on my right and a continuous flow of pedestrians walking by? Gosh. Now I know why am I single. HAHAHA!

Nerd Travels // Brisbane Photobook 1

Welcome to part 1:4 of my Brisbane Photobook. Brisbane oh Brisbane~ How beautiful you were. Woke up to the stunning city view, snuggled in my bed with some fruits and a cup of hot coffee. Watched the sunset at the highest point of Brisbane [Mount Cootha], stood under the clear sky watching cars go by, the calm river & white yachts, coffee, selfie, dinosaur and even Ferris wheel! What's else?

As I was taking an easy stroll along the river, I saw an old couple cuddling, heard the sound of a baby laughing, young teens roller skating and even university student with a gifted voice singing on the green field underneath the tree. It's the little detail you take note that makes life wonderful.

Nerd Travels // Gold Coast Photobook 2

Beautiful blue sky and sexy building silhouette, juicy dews, all things relevant and cool airport cafe! As mentioned in the previous Gold Coast photobook, I didn't manage to wander around town due to work so couldn't really give a simple opinion on GC. However, I do think that GC is a nice place to travel to with a bunch of friends. Price of food & beverage were much lower in comparison to Sydney or Melbourne, alcoholic drinks/liquor could be found almost everywhere at an amazing price, soft sand & windy beach, convenient transportation, various supermarkets to grab snacks or easy dinner and even nice little restaurants for a simple meal and pubs for a sassy night out. What's not to like about right?!

Anyways, hope you are having a good week so far. I'll be travelling for work again very soon for a short period of time. This time round, I wouldn't be able to blog while travelling for work because blogger and other social media are blocked in the country I'm going to. Therefore, lots of pre-scheduling work to do. Gotta prepare 2 months worth of blog posts so much in advance!

Nerd Travels : Sydney Photobook 5

Was your Saturday a good one? Yesterday was just family, food and loud laughter. Gotta emphasize on the loud part because when the 'Koks' talk about social issues and hilarious lame sarcasm, ain't nobody got time to check for the volume hahaha! By the way guys, I have a joke. Why does penguins have white tummies? [Answer will be at the end of this post]

Train ticket to Sydney CBD, dark leaves, pyjama, Parramatta ferry port view from inside and above, breakfast in bed, Korean food, train station, floral, Sydney central station, harry potter ambiance...LOL, notebook haul and late night supper. Had a nudge in me that I could actually record short clips in addition to pictures so I started staking short clips in Brisbane. So from this post onward, a short clip will be inserted. Enjoy :)

This is the final part of my whole series of Sydney Photobook. Had so many wonderful moments and I'm so blessed my journey ended with a happy note :) So what's next? Gold Coast it is!

Safari girl inspired get-up for a breakfast trip to KL. Olive utility green dress with earthy toned accessories. While we were on our way, I looked up into the sky and it was exceptionally blue :) Some days might be grey and some might be cray. But all and all, its the view from our eyes that determine what we see everyday. P/s: For this week's flower dedication, I went for bright red carnations <3

Nerd Travels : Sydney Photobook 4

How is your day so far?  It's Saturday here at home and it means family time and flower shopping :) To be honest despite my love for travelling, I do miss spending the weekends with my family. That's why when I'm back at station in Malaysia, majority of my time is for them. Anyways, enjoy my 4th installment of Sydney in pictures!

Main shopping district on George Street, stairway in the museum of contemporary art, quoted staircase, westfield Sydney, Australian food court, one-of-a-kind vending machine, building, greens, opera house, street view, apple store and feet. Do you feel what I felt? Sydney reminded me so much of London that I recalled all of my beautiful memories as I was strolling around alone. Which is why Sydney is on the top of my personal list. Nerd Travels : Sydney Photobook 3

Good Morning :) Today's installment of Sydney bits and pieces consists of wine in bulk, 3 days food supply, street artist donation box, random cafe at 'The Rocks', Sydney harbour bridge, Opera house, autumn leaves, ferry ticket, selfie, peanut butter in your face, autumnal crowd, Bailey Nelson [Where my glasses are from], and harbour bridge with ferry.

I've had a great week so far. Met up with my friends, had a nice meal, talked and laughed like an idiot. It's 2:00 am now and I'm still pre-scheduling blog post for the upcoming week. Can't wait for the long weekend to come. Really do miss buying fresh flowers from the market :) :) What are you up to this weekend?
