Nerdy Haul : Zalora Heels

I know its Autumn now but I just had to do some Spring cleaning and reorganizing because I will be away soon for quite some time. It was difficult for me because of the sentimental value, feelings and story behind each and every pair of shoes that I own.

However, I know its time for me to turn over a new leaf and get rid of things that I no longer need in my life :) The first step was to reorganize my shoe closet. 2 pairs of black heels were so worn out so off they go. Other pair of shoes that weren't worn often enough were all packed up to be donated. So of course I had to get replacements right?

Taupe Strappy Heel Sandals
An everyday office look type of shoes. Dresses up an outfit in a minimal and muted way.

Black Laser Cut Strappy High Heel Sandals
These are great to be paired with work pants, skinny jeans or even a full circle skirt. A little too high to run around town but great for casual strolls in the office.

I bought these at a discount on top of the discounted price. If you are new to Zalora, ZBAPqLL will strike 15% off anything. Have a nice weekend head everyone!

Nerdy Haul : Larsson & Jennings Black Lader Watch

I have been eyeing on this Larsson & Jennings Black Lãder watch for almost a year now. And after thinking through and through, I got it finally. I know everyone will be wondering why not Daniel Wellington right? DW watches are the 'in' thing to get! I'm not trying to go against the mainstream but when I looked into the specifications, DW definitely has its weakness. To be honest, I almost bought a DW watch a while back because the price is cheaper, discount codes were floating around and it was such a bomb to own a classic watch. I'm not saying that DW watches aren't good enough but if you are like me who has saved up  for months and hope to get a watch that can last a lifetime, perhaps Larsson & Jennings is a better option. It is slightly pricier but you'll see why.

                                Larsson & Jennings                         Daniel Wellington
Strap                         Italian Calf Leather                               Leather
Dial                                Black Brass                               Egg Shell White
Case Color                 Gold Plated 316 L                              Rose Gold/Silver
Movement                 Ronda 762 Quartz                   Japanese Quartz Movement
Water Resistant                  5 atm                                            3 atm
Glass                                Sapphire                                        Mineral
Price                                  £205                                             $229
Shipping                              £10                                              FREE
Warranty                            2 yrs                                            2 yrs

The main reason why I chose L&J was because of the fact that its more water resistant. 5 atm = 50 m. Therefore if I fancy, I can wear the watch and hop into the pool. Its not that I can swim but if you think about it, this watch wouldn't get ruined in the heavy rain or even buckets of water on your birthday! DW specifically mentioned on their website to avoid contact with all water. So when i saw that disclaimer, I hesitated.

The second reason would be the material of the glass. Watch glasses are normally made out of :
Acrylic glass or Mineral glass or Sapphire glass
( Less durable to Most durable. Sapphire crystal glass is 20 times more durable than Acrylic crystal and 3 times more durable than Mineral crystal )

Therefore at this point if you still can't tell, the durability of a watch is crucial to me. I drool on my watch, slam my hands against the wall on a daily basis and sometimes I even drop my watch onto the ground and the worst that has happened was that I swung my hand when I was telling stories, my watch flew out from my wrist and hit my cousin's tummy. I know right, not even exaggerating = = '

My current Michael Kors watch is 10 atm water resistant but it is not scratch proof at all. I still couldn't believe I paid such money for freaking acrylic glass. =/ I am just too clumsy for such delicate watch so when I found out that DW uses Mineral crystal glass, instantly I know that DW isn't for me. However, who knows maybe one day I'll get a DW watch right? I love the Men's Classic Cardiff watch. Never say never. :)

Anyways, I'll give review on this watch soon. Gotta give it some wear and tear before providing a personal and honest comment. Are you eyeing on anything recently?

Nerdy Haul: Luxola 35% sale

Thumbs up for secured package and fantastic delivery services.

Had an eye on this Zoeva 104 Buffer Brush for such a long time. So when Luxola had a 35% sale, I caved. This brush has a shape similar to the Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki which I am also dying to try. But since this Zoeva one is cheaper, why not try this first right? He he.

The price of this brush was RM37.38 after discount. Which also means that since its below RM40, I had to bear the shipping cost of RM30. How silly does it sound. So what I did was, I added the 3cE blotting sheets into my cart. In this case, the total purchased amount came up to RM45. Not the smartest idea but why pay bloody RM30 for postage right?! Plus, I have never tried blotting sheets fancier than my Daiso ones, so why not :)

Review of these products will be up after a week or so! By the way, Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki has a limited edition copper handle in conjunction to their 5 Years anniversary celebration. On my wishlist already. <3

If you are interested in shopping on Luxola.com, I have a 15% discount code for my readers. Just click onto the product links and you're done. Happy shopping!

Nerdy Haul : Sephora Member's Day Sale

Since I was out, I stocked up on my favorite products that are already running low :) Lucky enough, Sephora was having a 10% off store wide sale for SEA members!

3-in-1 daily detox vitamin C facial wash 150ml (Rm 51) -  The one i'm finishing up has been used for 8 months already. Definitely value for money.

The Ultimelt Deep Purifying Hot Cloth Cleanser 100ml (Rm 74) - I've heard great reviews on this so thought of trying this one instead of 'Peaches n Clean' that I'm currently using. Since its a new product, my skin might or might not breakout! We shall see. I think I'll post a review of this product after 2-3 weeks of test and trial.

The fab pore 2-in-1 masque & peeling 30ml (Rm100) - Running on the 2nd tub! Favorite mask among all that I've tried. Not the cheapest mask you can find out there but for someone with sensitive skin like me, finding a mask that clears up the skin and at the same time not too drying is like looking for the perfect dough ball for your doughnut hole!

If any of you are interested to get something from Sephora, let me know because I can get it together when I pay the next visit. I have a 10% discount on hand as a result of spending too much at Sephora haha :c Why not share the love and save you some bucks right? Its time to stock up on stocking fillers and little Christmas gifts for your loved ones <3
