5 Favourites in 2015 // April Edition

Phew~ April was long gone and it's mid-May already. Time really do travel faster as we age! To be honest, it took me quite a while to figure out what item or product stood out the past month because the only favourite that came to my mind was my trip to Sydney and everything else didn't seem to matter that much hehe :) So here there are:

Organix Coconut Water Shampoo and Conditioner
Soap n Glory The Fab Pore Cleansing Masque
Marbled Printed Mirror
Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate
Doublewoot White Skater Dress

Also, please excuse my horrible drawing. Doodling failed haha. I shall start packing for my business trip! Have a lovely weekend people <3 A brand new post will be up on my blog on Monday, Wednesday, Friday & the weekends starting from now onward. Keep your eyes peeled!

PM Skincare

I am not sure about this. Do you enjoy the process of slapping on beauty products on the face before bed? I definitely do. While toning and moisturizing my face and all other jazz, I'll watch YouTube videos that I have saved up specially for the night. I find it important for a lady to unwind completely before bed. Especially if you are a light sleeper light me, its crucial to 'leave' your day outside the door.

These are all of the products I use at before bedtime.

Laneige Light Balancing Emulsion - Loving at the moment. No breakout nor clog pores. Still testing out!

Kiehls Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream - I use this in addition to the Laneige Balancing Emulsion. This Oil-Free Moisturizer has a thicker consistency than Laneige, therefore its the final step of my whole routine.

Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate - This is magical. I don't know what is in it, but my skin looks better and better every morning.

Lush Mint Julips Lip Scrub - Quite pricey for sugar and natural oil (literally). But I've had this since last September and not even running low yet! Worth it to me :) The nearest Lush is in Singapore and they do deliver to Malaysia. I got mine at Lush in Covent Garden, London.

Nivea Lip Butter - Had this for 13 months already and I'm only half way through! *thumbs up* But I think I'll throw it away after one more month of use because product that comes in a pot/tub gets contaminated very easily. So its safer to switch it up after a year.

Mario Badescu aloe, herbs and rosewater facial spray - Simple enough for random spritz and provides a layer of moisture to the skin. I spritz this on my face as the first step to prep it for further serum & moisturizer action.

The Body Shop Organic cotton rounds - I bought it when it was 50% off Rm19.90. So I paid Rm10 for about 3 months supply of cotton rounds haha :p

Michael Todd Organic Eye Cream - Not loving it as much as I used to. Could be the fact that the consistency of the product changes over time. Or he fact that my under eye area has became drier.

This is the rose water from Mamonde that I'm currently testing. Will it work as well as my Mario Badescu? We'll see =)

AM Skincare

I don't think anyone is a morning person. For me, yes sometimes but most of the days I would rather snuggle up in my bed for 3 more mins. Therefore when it comes to skincare, I don't do alot. As I use quite a heavy oil serum in the night, a gentle cleanser and simple skincare is the way to go!

1. Colgate Carbon toothbrush

2. Soap n Glory 3-in-1 Daily Detox Vitamin C Facial Wash - Favorite morning cleanser till date! Its not drying on my skin at all and gives my face a glow after each wash. Most importantly it removes oily residue from previous night, leaving the skin feeling clean and soft. Have been using this for the past 7 months and it has definitely lasted me well! Got mine at Sephora.

3. Michael Todd Tropical Fruit Enzyme Exfoliant Scrub - I don't use this every morning but if my skin feels crappy and dull, this is an extra step to 'revive' sleepy skin. Get it here or here.

4. Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rose Water - Provides a lightweight moisture to replenish moisture lost earlier. This product smells like rosy goodness without being too overpowering. Overall a great and simple product that doesn't irritate the skin. Got mine at Luxola.com. Luxola always have discount codes hanging around so definitely check it out before paying the full price =D

5. Nivea Lip Butter - Moisturizes the lips without drying them after 3 hours. For some reason other lip balm used previously always dries my lips hours after application. This product is not available in Malaysia yet. Got mine at boots in UK.

6. Kiehl's Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream- I am not too picky with moisturizers. As long as it does its job and does not clog my pores. Currently using the 2nd tub of this but might switch to different ones soon after this is emptied out! Why not explore right? Got mine from Kiehl's.

7. Michael Todd Intensive Organic Cream Eye Treatment - Has a very runny texture but good enough for daytime under eye moisturization.

The whole routine would take up to max 5 mins in the morning. Now, that's reasonable :)
